SOHO Century Plaza is located in the Lujiazui Bamboo Garden commercial and trade district in the Pudong area of Shanghai. It is a Grade 5A office with 24 floors and a total GFA of 60,000 square meters, including 43,000 square meters of office space and 432 square meters of commercial space.
SOHO Century Plaza opened for leasing in August 2012, and was fully leased within a short period of time. The building has remained fully leased for the last three years. Tenants include large and medium size financial companies and institutions such as the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
Dozens of large corporations have invested in the Bamboo Garden Commercial and Trade District to make it a trading hub for metals, coal, oil and motors. The district is also at the center of the Lujiazui, having gathered a number of financial institutions including the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shanghai Diamond Exchange. Sinopec, Bao Steel, Korea's POSCO, and China Shipping Container Lines Co. are just a few examples of companies that have offices in the district. This is a well-established prime office area that has seen the highest rental rate growth in Shanghai.
The Bamboo Garden area is highly accessible, located at the intersection of three cross-river tunnels, it is also the transit hub for four subway lines (Line 2, 4, 6 and 9).
